How do finances work if I have dental insurance?

Dr. Mansfield is considered an in-network provider with several major insurance companies including Blue Cross of Idaho, Delta Dental of Idaho, Cigna, Regence, MetLife and others. However, whether in or out of network, most dental patients are free to choose their dentist. At Nampa Dental, we have a Patient Treatment Coordinator who will help you research and understand your dental benefits.

As a courtesy and with your permission we also bill most dental insurance companies on your behalf. As a dental provider, Nampa Dental is not a legal party to your contract with the insurance company. For this reason, you as the patient are ultimately responsible for paying for services rendered that are not covered by insurance. In order to verify your benefits, we recommend that all patients contact their insurance carrier or consult their benefits booklet (often available online) for details.
